Amanda Winterhalter

Amanda develops and stewards KUOW's growing portfolio of foundation, corporate, and public support. As part of the Philanthropy team, she engages in collaborative strategic planning and storytelling to build critical relationships that power KUOW's mission to create and serve a more informed public.

A writer and educator by training, Amanda has spent most of the last decade helping nonprofits tell their stories to engage new partners and supporters in their work, including Town Hall Seattle, The Bushwick Book Club Seattle, and Seattle Arts & Culture for Anti-Racism (SACA). Previously, Amanda served as Town Hall Seattle’s Institutional Giving Manager, closing out Town Hall’s $35.5 million capital campaign and growing its grants portfolio to support the new capacities and demands of its renovated facility. She holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Education.
