Politics Reporter
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced journalist to serve as Politics Reporter to cover politics in Seattle and Western Washington. The ideal candidate will have knowledge about local, regional and statewide political trends, as well as a passion for covering elections at both the local, state and federal levels. You’ll be a regular presence at public meetings and campaign events, and you’ll spend time cultivating deep connections in the region’s political networks to break news. You will help our audience understand its elected officials and the policies that shape everyday life here, and you will uncover secrets that power players want to keep hidden. Open Until Filled. Philanthropy Officer
KUOW has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary, Half-Time relationship-based fundraiser. Serving in the role of Philanthropy Officer, you will build meaningful connections with a portfolio of generous supporters of KUOW. As Philanthropy Officer, you will work as part of a team to identify, qualify/disqualify, cultivate, secure support from, and steward a portfolio of roughly 75+/- households through one-to-one engagement. On-Call Producer
KUOW has an outstanding opportunity open for a Temporary On-Call Producer. This role serves as fill-in producer for KUOW’s variety of on-demand and broadcast shows. Duties include booking, writing, pre-interviewing, audio production, scheduling, and participating in story meetings. This is a Limited-Term, Hourly position and hours will vary. President and General Manager
The next President and General Manager will be an energizing, collaborative, and inclusive chief executive who provides overall vision, leadership, and strategic direction for KUOW, one of the most diverse and innovative public radio stations in the United States. The President and General Manager has full oversight of KUOW including its content and programming, personnel, physical plant and technical support, marketing, community outreach, fundraising, general administration, and racial equity initiatives.
