As Senior Philanthropy Officer, Matt Albertson acts as a trusted advisor, helping to match the philanthropic interests of individuals, families, and organizations with the strategic priorities of KUOW.
Matt joined KUOW in 2007 after beginning his nonprofit development career at the American Red Cross. Matt graduated from the University of Washington with an Interdisciplinary Policy Degree focused on applying the social sciences to issues spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He maintains that the most effective way to create positive social change is by ensuring nonprofits have the resources needed to pursue their missions.
Matt is a member of Seattle Rotary, a graduate of Leadership Tomorrow, and has served on the Boards of the Bothell Parks Foundation and Seattle Rotary Service Foundation.
