130 years ago, the Great Seattle Fire changed the city forever
Kim Malcolm talks with MOHAI's Leonard Garfield about the Great Seattle Fire of 1889.
On June 6, 1889, a massive fire raged through Seattle. It spread across 100 acres, and destroyed much of Seattle's business district and waterfront. Miraculously, no one died.
Garfield is executive director of MOHAI -- Seattle's Museum of History and Industry.
