Emaciated gray whales continue to wash up dead on Northwest beaches
Paige Browning talks with biologist John Calambokidis about why gray whales are being stranded on beaches up and down the West Coast.
Calambokidis is a research biologist and founder of Cascadia Research, a nonprofit based in Olympia.
Since the beginning of this year, 17 gray whales have washed up dead on Washington beaches. Along the West Coast, more than 50 have washed up.
