Get drawn into tales from Federal Way's PowellsWood Storytelling Festival

Did you love listening to stories when you were a kid? Of course you did. The art of a good tale, well told, has the power to draw us in, transport, transfix and enchant us. It’s a wonder we don’t listen more than we do. Here’s a chance to dive back in.

The PowellsWood Storytelling Festival celebrates the wisdom and power of all kinds of stories. It takes place every summer now in a charming garden in Federal Way.

KUOW’s Jennie Cecil-Moore listened in on July 23 and came back with these tales from storytellers Donald Davis and Adam Booth.
