As we head into February, the daylight sticks around a little longer, but it’s still a great time to take in some of our region’s cultural offerings.

KUOW’s Arts and Culture reporter Marcie Sillman has some suggestions for you.

THEATER

“Bliss” at 5th Avenue Theatre, a musical about four princesses and their adventures outside the palace. Preview performances starting February 1.

A new adaptation of “Snow White” at Seattle Children’s Theatre opens February 6.

Sound Theatre Company presents the closing weekend of “Reparations” at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute.

Touring production of the Broadway musical “Frozen” at Paramount Theatre opens February 7 through March 1.

ACT Lab at ACT Theatre presents the Solo Fest, featuring four local solo performers presented over two weekends, opening Thursday, February 6.


DANCE

Kent Stowell’s “Cinderella” opens January 31 at Pacific Northwest Ballet, McCaw Hall.


MULTI-MEDIA
