The Cosmic Crisp apple will hit grocery stores after 22 years in the making

Later this year, the Cosmic Crisp will finally hit grocery store shelves, after 22 years in the making. The new variety is the offspring of the Honeycrisp and the Enterprise, and it was developed at Washington State University.
