A week of hearings, arenas and 'dairy, sugar-flavored somethings'

On Thursday Dr. Christine Blasey Ford sat in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee and testified that Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her nearly forty years ago. Following her testimony, Judge Kavanaugh vehemently denied the allegations.

It was an emotional, heated and partisan 24 hours that eventually lead to Arizona's Sen. Jeff Flake calling for an FBI investigation of the allegations before the full Senate votes on Judge Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination. What have these confirmation hearings meant for America?
