Friday politics: Durkan's State of the City, Washington's primary kicks off

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan gave her third State of the City address Tuesday, proposing ideas to reduce gun violence and combat the city's homelessness crisis.

Her speech, which received harsh criticism from City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, was delivered right as Durkan launches her bid for re-election.

Also three Democratic presidential primary candidates focus on the Seattle area ahead of Washington's primary on March 10.
