All three possible new cases are near Spokane.

Earlier this week King County confirmed its first case of severe lung disease in a teenager who said he was vaping nicotine.

Nationwide, six people have died from a vaping-related illness and nearly 400 have become sick. So far the CDC has not found a common infection among the cases.

Harley Annett, working the counter at The Pot Shop in Westlake, said customers are coming in with just enough information to make them scared.

“We actually had someone come in the other day saying that their wife said that he couldn’t vape anymore,” Annett said.

That guy decided to buy a pre-rolled joint instead.
