Washington is warming slower than anywhere else in the U.S.
Kim Malcolm talks with Joe Casola about a new analysis that finds average temperatures in Washington have warmed more slowly than any other state in the country. Casola is deputy director of the University of Washington's Climate Impacts Group.
The Associated Press analyzed 30 years of data from NOAA. It found the average temperature in the U.S. has increased 1.6 degrees since 1988. In Washington, the temperature warmed by about half a degree during that same period.
