‘We will be heard!’ Voices from Seattle Women’s March 2.0

Tens of thousands of people participated in the second annual Seattle Women’s March. The day started with a rally of fiery speeches to warm up participants on a chilly, rainy morning.

Toshiko Hasegawa and Dominque Stephens served as masters of ceremonies. Participants included Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and Councilmember Teresa Mosqueda, Washington State Senator Manka Dhingra and representatives Gael Tarleton and Kristine Reeves, Washington Democratic Party Chair Tina Podlodowski, Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson and many more.

The Seattle Women’s March 2.0 took place on Saturday, January 20, at Cal Anderson Park.
